I didn't realize how dim the moon was going to be under the blood-red shadow from the earth! Here, I'm at almost 3/4 of a second, and it was impossible to get a steady shot. Oh well.

Here's all six freshly cleaned up clevis pins after a bit of grinding and thread cutting with the die to fix the first thread. For reference, there's the aircraft-style clevis pin again.

Cutoff tool in action on the lathe. A good HSS tool has no problem with a hardened grade 8 bolt.

Here are the bolts (soon to be clevis pins) with the correct slotted nuts. I prefer these over the standard castle nuts because of the slightly lower profile.
